Richard is an award winning creative landscape artist who enjoys painting in all mediums but especially enjoys the wonders of watercolour. He gains inspiration from the stunning local scenery and wildlife along the East Yorkshire Coast. Richard has produced a range of wonderfully atmospheric paintings depicting Yorkshire scenes which have sold across the world.

Richard is an experienced art tutor and will be running his popular full day painting workshops. These will include both location and studio work. Groups will consist of no more than 8 people and Richard specialises in working with both total beginners and the more experienced artist.
All materials are provided. Lunch and afternoon cakes are included with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee.

Richard has designed and runs a special art course for the very beginner which is called 'The 7 Stages of Watercolour'. The classes are held in the Art Centre during the evenings and each course lasts for 8 weeks. All materials and refreshments are included.
